Aquascaping
Aquascaping is the craft of arranging plants, hardscape and substrate into a deliberate underwater landscape — a rewarding creative side of the hobby that also benefits the fish when done with their needs in mind.
A good aquascape balances beauty with function: open swimming space, planted cover, and layout that suits the species' temperament. It ranges from simple planted tanks to competition-level "nature aquariums."
For beginners, starting with a hardy planted layout is a low-pressure way in — the artistry can grow with your confidence.
